so college is over, summer camp is over, I have to move this week to my new apt for my new job and I don't even know what to do. I have so much crap to pack because hopefully this is a semi-permanent move, as in I will hopefully move up in the school within the next couple of years so I get to stay in that area. I really like my school district and the school I got a postion in. I'm not teaching yet, which vaccuums (sucks) and is a huge relief all at the same time. I know I'm ready to be a teacher... just not this year. My aide postion is perfect, I'm in a school I like, with co-workers I already know, with kids I already know and I'm still being an educator of sorts. My dad's pissed because I accepted a job that pays less than another one I was offered... but I would have had to live at home. As much as I love my mother, I don't get on well with my father, so living at home was not an option. If it was just mom and I, sure, but no way with my dad there. So I'll have to get a second job, probably waiting tables, but my position at school doesn't require anything of me outside of school, so after 3 I'm free. and I secretly like waiting tables.

I've got a sweet apt and a great roommate who also works in the school, so hopefully things will all just slide into place. I guess I'm just nervous and excited which has the butterflies in my stomach out of control. alright, I should go pack up my life... what to bring, what to bring!
